Not a good day today for blogging. I have a raging ear infection that is not one bit fun, AND the power was out all day.
One of the many bright spots in an otherwise difficult day, however, was getting this photo from my oldest child of her beautiful self at her company Christmas Party a short time ago.

It is very often beyond my comprehension that I have been favored with FOUR beautiful and amazing children. How did I get this lucky?

And how’d you catch my crummy cold all the way from here? I’m not to the ear infection yet – just the underwater feeling. Makes it fun to try to bend down to catch a toddler (or do anything with a toddler!)

Curious, did her father marry you? You don’t have to answer if you think I am being rude, I was just wondering, because I know you were quite young, although your daughter also looks quite young and I think she is my age. Not that I am not also young and glamorous looking, well maybe not that glamorous looking but still…
I think, I could be wrong but that our ages match up pefectly, you are my mom’s age, and I am your daughter’s? It seems like I remember that. She is 1953, I am 1972.

Yes, her dad and I were married for 6.5 years, and she has a brother 18 months younger.
You’re only off by a bit on the ages … I was born in 1951, my daughter in 1969.
